Welcome me

So I have finally joined the internet world with a blog!  Welcome me!  

This blog is going to be a compilation of life's adventures, successes and many funny failures.  When agonizing contemplating possible blog names, I came upon the fond name of "Village Idiot" - an ode to the community we live in, Loch Raven Village, and the many "failures" that are my life as a wife, mom, gardener, Christ-follower, and Pinterest DIY lover!  This name ironically came to me on the evening that I burned my hands chopping jalapeno peppers (blog post about this utter failure to come later) and I decided the only way I was going to successfully manage a blog is to make fun of all the silly things that we call life!  I will also include lots of pictures (because what good blog doesn't), as well as some tips about cloth diapering, co-sleeping, nursing, baby-led weaning, gardening and other delightful topics.  I promise not every post will be about poop, sometimes - yes, always - no.  

I would also like to introduce the world's best family - The Hubby and Little Lady - the loves of my life.  All posts will be run by The Hubby for qualify control, and future embarrassment opportunities for Little Lady.
